About ODNS

Welcome to Old Deerfield Nursery School! We are a small private nursery school and nonprofit community program located in beautiful historic Deerfield, Massachusetts. For over 60 years, ODNS has welcomed children and families into our community of learning, friendship, and exploration. We offer full and half day programs for children ages 2.9-5 years old. 

We believe in fostering meaningful teacher-student relationships and tailoring our curriculum personally to our students. For that reason we value a small class size and enrollment space is limited.

Our learning center thoughtfully provides a space enriched with joy, intentional teaching and an appreciation for one another and the community we live in. We are also very proud to offer a rich Social Thinking Curriculum, teaching social skills, flexible thinking and social, emotional growth.

Outside of the classroom, we are fortunate to enjoy a beautiful, large outdoor private play space where we offer multiple invitations for hands on learning and discovery.

ODNS is open to all families who may benefit from our program regardless of race, religion, cultural heritage, national origin, political beliefs, marital status, sexual orientation, or disability.

Our school is located in the beautiful village of Historic Deerfield, at the corner of Main Street and Memorial Street.
